What is Flat Spaces?
Flat Spaces founder Tom Yendell developed Flat Spaces as a unique holiday bungalow concept for multiple locations throughout UK, Ireland and Europe. Flat Space bungalows are extremely spacious to accommodate wheelchair users, suitable for the most severely disabled and elderly, and most importantly will be identical in layout and content. A Flat Space holiday traveller can therefore have total confidence in the standard and accessibility of their accommodation.

Flat Spaces are factory made on main land Europe, delivered and erected on site within six to eight weeks. The construction is of exceptionally high quality, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly.
Flat Spaces Cottages are unique – they will provide the equipment that many less able rely on in their own homes, but cannot find at the moment in accessible holiday accommodation. For instance, a ceiling hoist that travels from bedroom one to bedroom two, via the 17m2 en suite bathroom (a wet room), a Pressalit horizontal wall track enables items such as height-adjustable sink, shower seat and hand rails to be fitted for each user’s needs. A Clos-o-mat Lima Lifter toilet that washes and dries the user is also in place. Rise and fall kitchen worktops are fitted in the kitchen as well as a variable height dining table. Electric beds with sides and a carer call system are included in bedroom two. The size (185msq) and design of the layout enables at least four wheelchair users to navigate with ease. Once a traveller has experienced one of the Flat Spaces properties, they will have complete confidence to visit our other properties.
